Osteoporosis
Osteoporosis is a condition where bones become weak and the risk of fractures increases. To improve your chances of strong bones, reduce your alcohol intake to no more than one drink a day, quit smoking, avoid fizzy drinks and caffeine, take regular exercise and get outside when you can, especially over the summer months to increase your vitamin D intake. If you would like help managing this condition alongside your medical treatment, consult your BioKinesiology practitioner.

Organic Decaffeinated Coffee
Sometimes we all like a cup of coffee but caffeine has unpleasant side effects – anxiety, insomnia, digestive issues, addiction, high blood pressure, rapid heart rate, fatigue and frequent urination. I have come across an organic decaffeinated coffee made by Equal Exchange using the Swiss Water filter process – which means only water is used in the decaffeination process. Very tasty – with none of the side effects of caffeine. Available from the Organic Supermarket, Blackrock.
